Close to win the game!

So CLOSE!!! My favorite football team , Steaua Bucharest, was really close to win the game with Olympique Lyon they played in France today but it finished in the end just 1-1! not to bad after losing with 4-1 with the same team when they played in Bucharest!

Old people's dinner

Yesterday we had a new dinner for old people. We invited 7 old an poor people for a meal at one of the nicest restaurants in Constanta and all our guests were...ladies!!! It was interesting to spent some time with them and hear their stories. 5 of them were coming from an asylum and it was so sad hearing how most of them were left by the families there and nobody cares anymore about them.We encouraged them and pray with them and told them about God's unchangeable love.

Office needed for the ministry

Hello friends! As we wrote to you in our last email we really need to rent an office for the ministry. we were blessed to receive a promise for covering the rent for the first 6 months and we are really thankfull for this! We still need some money to prepaire the place, buy a door( the one the place jas is not safe at all), paint and change the floor...the place used to be a garage before. So if you have anything you want to donate toward this need we would be really thankful! Be bless!

A World Without Romania?

I've just stumbled upon a very good movie about my country: The movies has to keep a good commercial appeal and not become scientifically boring. It succeeds at that, and it does Romania a good, but not excellent, justice. The movie doesn't mention anything about the stellar poet Mihai Eminescu, the playwright Eugen Ionescu, the composer George Enescu, or the founder of the Dada movement, Tristan Tzara. More surprisingly, it doesn't mention the famous tennis players Ilie Nastase, #1 at the 1972 US Open and at the 1973 French Open, and Ion Tiriac (#1 with Ilie Nastase at men's doubles at the 1970 French Open). The list of inventors misses some big names as well: Hermann Oberth, the precursor of rocketry Victor Babes, who published the first treaty of microbiology in the world, and was one of the forefathers of serum therapy Anastase Dragomir, who basically invented the ejection seat in planes (I didn't know this one myself!) There are many other Romanians who left their mark on the world; some you might have heard about are listed on Wikipedia or here.

Tour Waves of Worship

Well, I am a man or ..the man??? Ham... the thing is that since February 2006 I am coordinating the man's ministry in my church. This is something I really like to do as I do believe we, the men, need some time out with other people , have fun, share with each other and support each other so here I am in a new ministry , something I never thought about I will be doing but it is amazing. There are great man's in our church and few more others in town ( i pray for some more!) that are coming (and will come) to have fellowship with us! Hey, Roar has learned dancing this morning! He got a new cd with kids song and he and Anca practice some dancing while listening to music! Here they are!

Brasov!

Last week-end we visited Anca's family in Brasov! We had some fun there and Anca enjoyed cleaning her parents house! We also visited while there a new Shopping Center opened few days before and Roar really got impressed by what he saw there!
